Three months to MPI Generali Run 2016!

If you haven’t been consistently training for a run, it’s time you start because MPI Generali Run 2016 is just over three months away!

And to get you into the mood for it, we are organising another series of My First Run Clinic. Based on a Beginner’s Running Programme by the New York Road Runners, My First Run Clinic is a two-month programme to help new runners discover the fun of running and familiarise themselves with the race terrain.

We are delighted to announce that the first session of My First Run Clinic will take place on 24 October 2015. Make time to join us! Along the way, you can pick up running tips and techniques from fitness experts and health professionals while networking with other and more seasoned runners. There is no limit to the number of participants so bring your friends to enjoy the sessions together. Please visit the My First Run Clinic section for more details.

We would also like to express our appreciation for your continuous support for the 5km category. In MPI Generali Run 2016, 5km runners stand a chance to not only get a certificate of participation upon completing the race, but also, for the first time, earn themselves a finisher medal!

So what are you waiting for? The earlier you start your training, the better. And given how badly our air is being affected by haze right now, we strongly suggest that you train indoors and keep yourself well-hydrated all the time. Letting your health suffer in the name of training is doing it wrong. We look forward to witnessing a personal best run from you on 10 January 2016.
